Today ended with a relaxing session in the hot tub and a few great acting events. I received a very kind email from the writer of the play I performed in, RESTORATION, in NYC after he viewed the DVD of the show. Earlier this month, I was asked to perform it one more time, but due to my acting schedule, I unfortunately had to decline. I also received a call from the producer of DEVIL IN JERSEY, that the post production team is almost done with editing, but want to add one more scene with my character. Heck yes I'm available! Anything to wear the wig again. Also, I was informed that MY FRIENDS will have it's NYC premiere in late April. More details to follow about which film festival it will be featured at. Finally, I was offered a part in another movie I auditioned for the other week. Follow the link below to read about the project.

Fun night at rehearsal for CHOICES Season 2. It was great to catch up with Peyton, Rick, and Brandon.

Five years ago, I had the privilege of working under the direction of Michael Dougherty. in BROWNCOATS:REDEMPTION. He introduced me to so many great people and the world of COSPLAY and various conventions. Anyway, as he puts final touches on preparation on his latest project, Z*CON, he and his beautiful wife Kelly, met Carmen and me for dinner to catch up on everything and share in some great laughs. They were returning from a horror convention in NJ. Thanks again, Mike and Kelly, and we'll see you soon in Annapolis.

How good was today? Pretty damn good. I had a great audition and left the room with some great compliments. I give it my all, and then once I leave, it's out of my hands, and on to the next audition. I have a shoot tomorrow night for TILTED STRAITS and then that will be a wrap for project #4 for 2014. So, I'm still feeling pretty amped right now. Yeah, baby!!! LOL

After double checking my calendar, I only have one audition this weekend. I can kick back and relax. Awesome!!! Especially since my shooting schedule for three projects is about to get a little...what...Homer?

I've already filmed 10 scenes for CHOICES Season 2. I have about 20 more to go. I love where this character is going and how it's taken me completely out of my comfort zone.

In the past 96 hours, I've told an actress to accept the fact that she's essentially living in the past, called out a mob boss on his leadership, told my supervisor to F off, and buried a body in the woods hours before sunrise. Yes, I'm loving what I do. RESTORATION. CHOICES Season 2. BEST LAID PLANS.

While I'm a bit sad that the show ended last night, I'm feeling very satisfied with the experience, the knowledge I gained, and the opportunities which lay ahead of me. Thank you again, everyone, for your support and kindness. Back to screen acting tomorrow for CHOICES.

What a great day of filming for CHOICES Season 2. I got to finally work with Bryan DeSanto. Wow! Great actor and I can't wait to see our scene edited. Also a great surprise to see a fellow actor, Michael J Gaudioso, on set and film a scene with him. Now, time to shoot BEST LAID PLANS with John Comegno 

Long day ahead of me. Two different projects to film. One in Philly and one in NJ. Two very different characters. One is a police Captain. The other is a professional hitman. Oh, yeah. This is what I've been working for these past couple of years. Love it!

Back in the fall, I had a morning to film one scene for FRIENDS FROM THE NEIGHBORHOOD. It was a thrill and I finally had the opportunity to work with John DiRenzo. Well, it's getting closer to being released.

Tech rehearsal for RESTORATION at the Manhattan Rep Theater. Show is next week and I can't wait to get on stage again. Also, I decided to take the bus to NYC instead of driving. OMG! So much more relaxing and the ride home on the bus is going to be necessary since I plan on food coma courtesy of a few pastries. Yummy!

Well, I've been asked back to perform in the play I did in September. Back to NYC. Yeah, baby! It's actually a great honor because the writer could have picked a number of plays, and casts and directors, but he chose us. I start this Saturday.

The first day of filming for BEST LAID PLANS was fantastic! The entire crew was professional and had every little detail thought of and executed with exact precision. Also, John Comegno, was a great actor who easily had me find the character and make our scenes fun. His looks are fantastic. I can see why he keeps getting roles like this. Anyway, shooting will wrap in the next couple weeks

So when is the casting call for Top Gun 2? LOL

My local YMCA posted a Diana Nyad Challenge in 2013. The goal - to swim 110 miles during the year. After completing the swim in December 2013, I finally got my congratulatory tshirt last week. Here's one last montage of the journey.

That's a wrap for me on the set of SISTERLY DISORDER. Jen Munz Knebl and Jodie E. Saueraker are an absolute joy to work with and Jen also inadvertently helped me achieve one of my 2014 acting goals. SAG eligible. Yeah, baby!
